Popis
A stud nut (also called a set nut, countersunk nut, dowel nut) is a special type of nut designed for a firm hold in materials such as wood, plastic or metal.
It has an external thread (often with ribs or grooves) and an internal thread for screwing in a screw or threaded rod.
It is mainly used in the furniture, woodworking, mechanical engineering, automotive and aerospace industries, but also for plastics and composite materials
It allows repeated assembly and disassembly of screws without damaging the material
To install, simply drill a hole with a diameter slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the nut and then screw it in using an Allen key.
